A man of action through and through

Dr. Sascha Klett was appointed the new Chief Technology Officer at ZIEHL-ABEGG in June 2021. He is someone who knows the company inside out from years of experience and activity. A doer and ‘solid as a rock’, born in Backnang, he studied and gained a doctorate in process engineering and has been working in ZIEHL-ABEGG since 2014. His wealth of experience and wide-ranging know-how which he brought with him from his previous, long-standing management roles for Bosch and the joint venture EM-motive, won him a great deal of respect in his first role as Technical Manager at ZIEHL-ABEGG Automotive, with these qualities being incorporated into the work on innovative developments.

Teamwork, responsibility, long-term perspective, commitment and initiative are guiding principles and a matter of course for the work of the 49-year-old family man not only within the company but also in his voluntary activity as an instructor and group leader in the volunteer fire brigade. With his appointment as Technical Managing Director in the Automotive Division in 2019, Dr. Sascha Klett set further, new technological and innovative emphases in the company which now wants to continue and drive forward in his new role and working environment in the company following his appointment as Chief Technical Officer of ZIEHL-ABEGG SE.
