NEW COO AT ZIEHL-ABEGG

Joachim Ley, graduate industrial engineer

Following his appointment as Chief Operations Officer by the Supervisory Board of ZIEHL-ABEGG SE, Joachim Ley, who holds a degree in industrial engineering, took up his new position as COO of the company with effect from 1 October 2021. The experienced manager is consequently assuming responsibility for the following areas in the company: production, both domestic and international, purchasing as well as central logistics & processes.

Joachim Ley is 44 years old, married and has two children. After completing his studies as a graduate industrial engineer, he took on various management positions in the field of operations. After nine years at Recaro Aircraft Seating in Schwäbisch Hall, from January 2015 Joachim Ley performed the role of Executive Vice President Supply Chain in the same company. In Joachim Ley, ZIEHL-ABEGG has gained another top manager and expert at board level in order to address the major tasks and topics of the future.
