For the safety of our employees and the safety of our customers

SPS, Nuremberg – officially cancelled

The management of ZIEHL-ABEGG had already decided at the beginning of last week to the ‘pull the plug’ on attending its first trade fair in one and a half years, the SPS – Nuremberg.

We’re sad but looking ahead

Peter Fenkl, CEO of ZIEHL-ABEGG SE: “We felt that the risk, not only to our employees but also our customers and visitors, was too high. The current precarious situation with the corona virus pandemic unfortunately left us with no leeway for maintaining our physical presence at the SPS trade fair in Nuremberg which had been firmly planned for months and with the construction of the exhibition stand almost finished.” The company hopes that its customers will understand its decision.

2022 – SPS in Nuremberg

After numerous other companies had already withdrawn from the event, the Management Board of Mesago Messe Frankfurt, SPS Nuremberg, has now officially announced its decision to cancel the event.

The first non-virtual trade fair this year has therefore had to bow to the general situation with the epidemic and close its doors before they had even opened. Nevertheless, organizers and exhibitors agree – priority must be given to health and safety as well as to the protection for visitors and participants. Those in charge at ZIEHL-ABEGG are however optimistic about the future – “We will meet up here once again in 2022”.
