Wirtschaftswoche invited business leaders, entrepreneurs, politicians and academics to Schwäbisch Hall for the 15th time on 5 February

Joachim Ley’s fitting quote during one of his speeches at the high-calibre event was exactly in line with the focus of this year’s summit of world market leaders in Schwäbisch Hall. In his presentation, he spoke about the inspiring insights that ZIEHL-ABEGG has been gaining from nature for many years and the intelligent adaptation of the knowledge gained by its employees into the globally unique, highly efficient fans. ‘Innovation is the basis of our success,’ said Joachim Ley, ’and we should have the courage to break new ground, because constant progress is the key to success.’

‘Germany needs more confidence!’ With these words, Horst von Buttlar, Editor-in-Chief of WirtschaftsWoche and organiser of the impressive business event, welcomed his guests. ‘This year, we want to find solutions instead of just conjuring up crises; we want to learn about best cases and innovations instead of just castigating bureaucracy. We want to discuss ideas that point to the future – and not dwell on the failures of the past.’
