At the Annual General Meeting of AMCA International (Air Movement and Control Association International) in Arlington Heights/Illinois/USA – this time held in a virtual format – Jürgen Albig, Head of Product Management Air Technology at ZIEHL-ABEGG and, as such, responsible for the whole international, group-wide product structure of the entire Ventilation System Division, has been appointed to the AMCA Board.

Know-how, superb expertise, world-renowned

Tremendous international recognition for the expert who brings with him 40 years’ experience in the field of ventilation systems, fan development and manufacture, with special focus on fans in combination with highly efficient motor and drive systems, unerring technical know-how, both on the national and international level. Jürgen Albig holds leading roles on many other important bodies such as the Fachverband Gebäude-Klima e. V (Association for air quality in buildings), the Branchenverband der deutschen Klima- und Lüftungswirtschaft (industry association of the German air conditioning and ventilation industry), the “Connectivity” Working Group of the EVIA, the European Industry Ventilation Association, or the Verein Deutscher Ingenieure (Association of German Engineers (VDI).

Integrity for the cause

He is a member of several AMCA International Working Groups and the European AMCA Steering Committee. In addition to his work as a senior product manager at ZIEHL-ABEGG, he is also responsible for regulatory and governmental-related matters worldwide.

Co-responsibility for the harmonisation of normative requirements and the comparability of standards
