The ZAtop SM250 elevator drive
The aim was to create very special elevators, in a totally minimalized, Scandinavian design, to match the existing clear and studied building line and corporate structures of Vector Informatik GmbH, the contracting client. For the lead architect this meant finding the right partner to fulfil this demanding task in the field of elevator technology.
Creative, sensitive elevator design
The answer was found in the firm of Stricker Aufzüge GmbH located in the Baden-Württemberg town of Backnang. The family-owned company, formed in 1924 in Stuttgart, is a specialist in amongst other things the construction of elevators involving sophisticated technology and design. Stricker has applied its proven know-how and creative sensitivity to create a totally minimalized, Scandinavian-style elevator design for the desired duplex-elevators.
The specialists at Stricker opted for the Premium Efficiency elevator motors from ZIEHL-ABEGG for the technical perfection of the elevators and for the perfect and sophisticated drive power.
The elevator motors, which are used in countless projects worldwide, combine future-oriented, highly efficient and almost silent motor technology with precisely matched control technology for reliable drive power at the right moment and the option of predictive maintenance for even more efficient results and ideal product utilization.

Space-saving, unobtrusive and housed in the shaft head without a machine room, the modern drives now provide environmentally friendly, highly efficient and silent drive power with invisible and exemplary smooth running.
