Greensboro – Headquarters for North America. Since it was founded in 2004 it has established a successful position in the market for ziehl-abegg’s state-of-the-art fans. Managing Director is Mirco Herrmann. Continuous growth over a number of years has created the need for an expansion of logistics and production facilities on a site that today covers an area of over 10,000 square meters. The corporate strategy of creating local added value and the resultant ability to supply customers direct with the highly efficient biomimetic fans manufactured in-house to ZIEHL-ABEGG’s quality standards, has been rewarded with success. The sharp increase in demand for innovative and climate-friendly ZIEHL-ABEGG fans makes the recently adopted corporate objective a necessity: ZIEHL-ABEGG is relocating its North American headquarters from Greensboro to Winston-Salem in Forsyth County. ZIEHL-ABEGG is investing around 100 million euros in the new headquarters in the USA, with a further expansion of the state-of-the-art, high-tech fan production facility on a site covering 47,000 square meters, simultaneously creating hundreds of new jobs at the new location. Start-up of production is expected as soon as 2024.
