Climate rescuer – if it turns “blue” we’re going in the right direction
Meeting the 2030 climate target with 500,000 heat pumps every year
According to recent reports in the various press media, Economics Minister Robert Habeck is looking to achieve the stated climate goals for 2030 through an annual target of 500,000 heat pumps.
Special fan just for heat pumps
These goals are definitely achievable with the help of the new generation of heat pumps which are equipped with FPowlet, the new biomimetic fan from ZIEHL-ABEGG specially developed for these applications. Maximum efficiency, huge energy savings and the worldwide unbeatable and unique flagship feature of generating just half the noise level of other comparable products, provide the basis for the FPowlet.
FPowlet axial fan
…has been specially developed for the requirements of air-to-water heat pumps in residential and commercial buildings. Operating in what are frequently confined installation conditions in air-cooled evaporators, the FPowlet demonstrates its strengths to optimum effect, achieving exceptionally low acoustic values even when dealing with turbulent inflows.
The new FPowlet fan is an eye-catcher with its unmistakable, broadly-based, triple-vaned and serrated blade concept. For the employees on the InVent development floor at the headquarters of ZIEHL-ABEGG in Künzelsau, this construction resp. blade design, specially developed with the help of proven findings from biomimetic research, was a concept guided and coordinated through numerous test phases and experiments.
Impressive test values
The investment in this development, which is tailored to the very special needs of heat pumps, has paid off. The test readings provide impressive results e.g. maximum efficiency and forecast huge energy savings.
You can hardly hear anything now
With these values, the developers at ZIEHL-ABEGG have achieved a genuine breakthrough in their efforts, through fan technology, to provide significant support in achieving set climate targets. And above all: you can hardly hear anything at all when the fan is operating. This makes every heat pump the ideal, trouble-free heating medium of the future, at any time of the day or night.
