“ZIEHL-ABEGG VIETNAM” – NEW SUBSIDIARY

ZIEHL-ABEGG is investing around 25 million Euros in a new production facility for high-tech fans for the East Asian and Australian markets

The official founding ceremony of “ZIEHL-ABEGG Vietnam”, which took place on 11th July 2023 in the metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City, represents a continuation of ZIEHL-ABEGG’s global strategy of expansion, following on from Poland and the USA.

On the outskirts of Vietnam’s largest economic region, Ho Chi Minh City, work has already begun on the construction of a state-of-the-art production facility with an administration wing for the future production of ZIEHL-ABEGG’s biomimetic high-tech fans.

14,000 square metre site for blue premium fan quality from Germany

According to plans from ZIEHL-ABEGG, production is actually schedule to start in the first half of 2024 on a site covering a total area of 14,000 square meters, followed, at the end of 2024, by full-scale production of the biomimetic impellers which are to be equipped with the intelligent ECblue motor technology. This expansion follows recent investments in the development of production capacities in Poland and the USA, together with continuous investments in Germany.

Increasing customer demand for blue, climate-friendly fan technologyy

“In order to meet the increasing customer demands, we need to expand our production facilities worldwide and build new ones so we can get closer to our customers,” says Joachim Ley, Chief Operations Officer of ZIEHL-ABEGG. “The new facility in Vietnam is particularly important for the markets in Asia and Australia; it will help us to continue offering our customers our best solutions in the future.”
